Polaris Materials & Care
The Polaris Month of Love Necklace, Polaris Evermore Star Necklace and Polaris Starlight Lab-Grown Diamond Necklace are made from 925 sterling silver with gold plating and lab-grown diamonds.
This guide covers these three necklaces. Materials vary across Lyastone's wider range; always check the individual product page.
Gold-plated 925 sterling silver
925 sterling silver is the base metal. Gold plating provides the gold finish; these necklaces are not solid gold. Plating can gradually wear with use, moisture and friction.
Lab-grown diamonds
The stones in these three necklaces are lab-grown diamonds, including the centre and accent stones where present. Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds produced in a laboratory. Cubic zirconia and topaz are different gemstone materials.
Carat weight, colour and clarity grades, growth process, treatments and individual grading reports are not specified here. Please contact us if you need those details before purchasing.
Care for the whole piece
- Remove before showering, swimming, exercise and sleep.
- Avoid perfume, cosmetics, household chemicals and prolonged moisture.
- Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear.
- Do not use silver dip, abrasive cleaners or vigorous polishing on gold plating.
- Store separately to protect the finish and reduce chain tangling.
